Special Event Beauty
We use variety of products including NARS, MAKEUP FOR EVER, Limelight by Alcone, MAC, Tarte, Stila, Kevyn Aucoin, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Chanel, Temptu, Danessa Myricks, Ben Nye, Face Atelier, Inglot, Kryolan, Kett, RCMA, Mehron, Temptu, Tom Ford, and Charlotte Tilbury. Based on your Bridal preview consultation, we will determine which products are the best for your skin type and desired makeup look.
The makeup will last all day (8-10 hours) based on your skin type. I have done brides early in the morning and their makeup is perfect until the end of their reception. Of course, you may have to powder your nose and and touch up your lips throughout the day.
We require Bridal Trials. It’s a great opportunity to see what works and adjust far in advance of your special day. When you consider the busyness of your wedding day, time is not always in plentiful supply! You may not have the flexibility to make any changes if you are not satisfied with your look. This doesn’t mean that we cannot make you look absolutely gorgeous without a trial session, but it helps when we’ve worked in advance to create a look that you love 100%.
Bridal previews are usually held at our Studio in Maryland. Should you wish to have the trial at your location of choice, we can certainly accommodate your request for a nominal travel fee.
Of course! If you have a skin issue that is of concern for you, please let us know. What may seem like a big problem to you will likely be common to a makeup artist.
As soon as you have a wedding date selected! We book up to a year in advance, so its best to book us as soon as you've decided that you want to work with Jennifer Thorpe Beauty.
While our packages are most often booked due to their all inclusive luxury, we do offer a la carte options for clients seeking to stay in a certain price point. Please contact me directly for specific information.
